The Country is Calling

It’s a typical Sunday morning, making breakfast for my two boys, cleaning the kitchen, straightening the house, blah blah blah.   You get the picture.  It’s also my Sunday morning ritual to go through the real estate section of the newspaper and always hoping to find that perfect country property.   You know the one with a beautiful log cabin on the side of a hill, overlooking a picturesque river.  Hell, I’ll even take a pond. I don’t mean to sound greedy but it’s my dream so let’s put it on at least 40 acres with a barn.

As I stand here getting frustrated with realizing that it’s just a pipe dream.  I decide to try a different means of searching.  So, I go online and there are a few homes that look interesting but they aren’t what I’m really looking for.  Some of them are just to expensive and to far away.

Then there it is…it’s ugly but has potential.      It’s on 20 acres but it’s not on a river. Hey, at this point beggars can’t be choosers.  So I call the listing agent and she’s willing to show us the home.  Then I call my guy and tell him what I’ve found.  He is  actually interested and this is where it begins.

So join me on my journey of living and discovering my authentic life.
